Berkeley, CA (March 16, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a food delivery driver sustained injuries in a crash on Bancroft Way and Durant Avenue.

The crash on Bancroft Way in Berkeley happened at 3:45 p.m. on March 15.

Berkeley Police said the food delivery driver was returning to his full-size cargo van when a passing truck struck him with the vehicle’s side view mirror.

EMS rushed the man to Highland Hospital in Oakland. 

The truck driver stayed at the scene of the collision and is cooperating with the investigation
