Phoenix, AZ (January 3, 2024) – Early Wednesday morning, 26-year-old Michelle Soto died in a crash on 67th Avenue.
Although details are limited, Phoenix police responded to the vicinity of 67th and Clarendon Avenues, just south of Indian School Road, around 6 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a tan SUV and a woman, later identified as 26-year-old Michelle Soto, lying in the middle of the road.
Investigators determined that Soto was standing mid-block in the roadway when the southbound SUV hit her.
The SUV’s driver remained at the scene and exhibited no signs of impairment, according to the police.
