Ozzy Pena Killed after Crash on 67th Avenue and Thomas Road in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (January 11, 2024) – Late Wednesday night, 38-year-old Ozzy Pena died in a crash on 67th Avenue and Thomas Road.

The Phoenix police report that a two-car crash occurred around 10 p.m. near 67th Avenue and Thomas Road. 

In this incident, a man, later identified as 38-year-old Ozzy Pena, sustained injuries in one of the cars and later died at a hospital. 

Three individuals received hospital treatment, though none of their injuries were life-threatening. 

Investigation revealed that the car carrying Pena, driven by another man, drifted into the two-way center lane while traveling west on Thomas Road and collided with a truck attempting a left turn.

Authorities currently do not suspect intoxication as a factor in the crash, and it remains unclear if any charges will be filed. 

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
