Injuries Reported in Big Spring Accident on 3300 East Interstate 20 South Service Road

BIG SPRING, TX (February 15, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a disastrous hit-and-run crash on 3300 East Interstate 20 South Service Rod injured 1 person.

The crash happened before 6:13 p.m. in the 3300 block of East I-20 South Service Road.

Reports said that as a 48-year-old man pushed a motorcycle westbound, he was struck by what is believed to be a westbound red Kenworth Truck Tractor pulling a sand trailer.

Then, the truck driver failed to stop and render aid, fleeing the scene after the incident.

Meanwhile, responders flew the victim to UMC Lubbock where they are currently in stable condition.

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information about this incident or the location of the truck to contact Lieutenant Gordon at 432-264-2561 or CrimeStoppers at 432-263-TIPS.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
