SAN DIEGO, CA (July 12, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a startling pedestrian crash on 13400 Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard injured 1 person.

The crash happened when a car struck a 63-year-old pedestrian jaywalking in the 13400 block of Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard. The incident occurred at about 10:15 a.m. and it involved an eastbound 2003 Acura, said the San Diego Police Department.

When paramedics arrived, they transported him to a hospital for treatment of a compound fracture to his left leg and a broken left wrist, SDPD Officer Sarah Foster revealed.
