Injuries Reported in Scottsdale Auto Accident near 82nd Place and Indian School Road
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (March 21, 2023) – An injury crash near 82nd Place caused by erratic driver Caylynn Simpson occurred last Saturday.
The incident happened at about 1:20 a.m. near 82nd Place and Indian School Road, just east of Hayden Road. According to reports, as Scottsdale police worked at the area, 37-year-old Caylynn T. Simpson in her Toyota Tacoma crashed into four separate police vehicles.
Officers confirmed that during the crash, an arrestee was in the backseat of one of the patrol cars and an officer stood near him. As a result, both of them sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, the incident led to no other injuries.
Also, officers noted that all four police vehicles sustained damages. Meanwhile, two police vehicles required towing services.
Moreover, authorities arrested Caylynn Simpson. Then, they booked her into the Scottsdale City Jail on DUI charges, including Extreme DUI and Reckless Driving & Endangerment.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
