92-Year-Old Woman Dies After Crash in Costco Parking Lot in Prescott

Prescott, AZ (August 30, 2024) – Police report that an elderly woman was tragically struck and killed after a crash in a Costco parking lot in northern Arizona earlier this week.

Prescott police state that just before 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a 68-year-old driver was turning left in the parking lot when he hit a 92-year-old woman. 

The collision caused the woman to be dragged a short distance before the driver could stop.

First responders arrived quickly and began assisting the injured woman, but she unfortunately died at the scene minutes later.

The Prescott Police Department’s Traffic Safety Section is investigating the incident.
