Reportedly, an aircraft that departed from Brownsville crashed near the Plan De Guadalupe International Airport in the Mexican State of Coahuila, killing four people.
The plane tracking website FlightWare reports that the aircraft left Brownsville at 9:01 a.m. and met its tragic end at 11:47 a.m. while making its final approach to the runway.
The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration states that the Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage, registered under the name of Alsa Aviation Inc. in Brownsville, was the aircraft involved in the crash.
