Unidentified Woman Killed in Los Angeles Car Accident on 83rd Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 12, 2020) – On May 10, Patricia Romero, 63, and Sharlene Ayala, 19, died in a head-on crash on Central Avenue in Los Angeles.
The authorities received reports of the fatal head-on crash at around 11:20 p.m. on 83rd Street and Central Avenue.
According to the police, a car was traveling south on Central Avenue when it crashed with a northbound vehicle.
The officers confirmed that an occupant of the southbound car, now identified as Sharlene Ayala, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
At this time, none of the vehicles involved have been identified by the police. Towing services were requested in the area due to the extent of damage sustained.
Police later confirmed that the occupant of the other vehicle, Patricia Romero, also died as a result of the crash.
The surrounding area on 83rd Street and Central Avenue was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary investigation/duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
Moreover, the authorities didn’t make any arrest in the crash. However, they are continuously investigating the devastating crash on 83rd Street.
