Car Driver Hospitalized in HWY 12 Vehicle Crash
Elma, WA (June 8, 2022) – On Thursday, past 9:30 p.m., the authorities arrested Cougan Wright, 32, of Shelton, in a DUI crash on Highway 12 injuring a car driver.
Reports say Wright was attempting to evade the officers on the freeway.
He ran a stop sign at the intersection of West Spruce Place and 3rd Street t-boning a vehicle driven by an elderly Seattle man Then, he hit a parked and unoccupied vehicle.
The authorities caught up with Cougan Wright. They took him to a hospital for treatment and arrested him with charges of eluding police and vehicular assault.
Moreover, the paramedics rushed the driver of the t-boned vehicle to a hospital for treatment.
Troopers say Wright was intoxicated when the HWY 12 vehicle crash took place.
