Complaint of Pain Reported in Costa Mesa 2-Vehicle Collision on 55 Freeway
COSTA MESA, CA (January 29, 2019) – One person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision late Tuesday afternoon in Costa Mesa.
The collision happened around 5:46 p.m. near the intersection of 55 Freeway and 405 Freeway.
According to the CHP, a white Chevrolet Colorado and a blue Kia collided on the right shoulder of the transition road. When officers arrived, one occupant in the Kia complained of pain to the back and paramedics were immediately dispatched to assist.
The patient was then transported to a medical facility for proper treatment.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but the Chevrolet was towed away from the crash site.
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol have played a role in the crash. The full circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
