2 Cars Collide on Hoag Road in Corning, Injuries Reported
CORNING, CA (January 18, 2019) – One person was injured following a two-car crash Friday night in Corning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened around 6:06 p.m. 23660 Hoag Road near Mary Avenue.
According to the CHP, a dark-colored Honda Pilot and another sedan collided, sending debris on the roadway. Both cars were on the right shoulder when officers arrived, and one passenger suffered a head injury.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and took the injured patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
CHP officials are overseeing the investigation to determine the ultimate cause of the crash and liability.
