Corina Bernal Dies in Ming Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (September 09, 2021) – On Tuesday, 61-year-old Corina Bernal suffered fatal injuries in Ming Avenue hit-and-run crash.

The authorities arrived at the Bakersfield accident scene at about 10:30 p.m. at the intersection with Stine Road.

When the officers arrived, they found a woman, later identified as Ms. Bernal, who was struck by an SUV. 

Rescuers immediately took her to a hospital, where she later died.

Meanwhile, the authorities are still looking for the responsible driver.  

They said the suspect vehicle is a 2020 orange or red Toyota C-HR SUV.
