Consuelo Cordova De Hernandez Killed in Jameson Avenue Collision [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (June 19, 2024) –  53-year-old Consuelo Cordova De Hernandez of Riverdale was killed in a Jameson Avenue collision Monday afternoon.

The authorities responded at 1:20 p.m. to the two-vehicle crash at the intersection with Kamm Avenue.

Troopers said a 70-year-old was driving a westbound commercial big rig on Kamm Avenue toward Jameson Avenue. Officers said Kamm Avenue has the right of way and does not have stop signs.

Moreover, a Chevrolet driven by Consuelo Cordova De Hernandez failed to stop at the stop sign and drove directly into the path of the commercial big rig. 

The big rig crashed onto the Chevrolet’s right side severely damaging both vehicles.

The big rig and trailer rolled onto its side and the driver incurred minor injuries, while the Chevrolet driver, Consuelo Cordova De Hernandez, was killed.
