Constantino Zamudio Calderon Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Marlow Road [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (February 19, 2022) – On Friday, 69-year-old Constantino Zamudio Calderon of Santa Rosa died in a pedestrian accident on Marlow Road.

Officers responded to the crash scene at about 6 p.m., south of intersection with Guerneville Road.

When they arrived, officers found Calderon down in the roadway with a head injury.

They rushed him to an emergency room at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where doctors declared Calderon dead a short time later.

Moreover, investigators said Calderon was crossing the road in a south-west direction when a Cadillac sedan struck him.

The Cadillac’s windshield was shattered, especially on the driver’s side.

Meanwhile, the Cadillac driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation. After participating in field sobriety tests, officers said that the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the crash happened.

At this time, police believe the driver was not at fault.
