Conner McDougal and Kaden Mackowiak Hurt in I-90 Hit-and-Run Crash [Spokane. WA]

Spokane. WA (August 16, 2023) On Monday evening, 21-year-old Conner McDougall of Spokane, and 22-year-old Kaden Mackowiak of Chewelah, were hurt after a hit-and-run crash on I-90.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the 2-vehicle crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. on Interstate 90. Officials say that a Honda Accord, driven by 22-year-old Dustyn Forrest of Valley, cut in front of an Acura TSX.

Afterward as the Acura began to exit off Highway 195, the Honda cut back in front of it. This caused one of the vehicles to crash into the guardrail then rolled over. While, the other vehicle hit a bridge abutment.

Both occupants of the Acura, McDougall and Mackowiak, were transported to Sacred Heart with unknown injuries. Meanwhile, WSP arrested Forrest and 21-year-old Gabriel Aparicio of Spokane, for suspicions on causing the crash.

WSP says that speed played a factor in the 2-vehicle crash.
