Fatality Reported in St. Peters Traffic Accient
St. Charles County, MO (August 26, 2024) – Conner Lipp, 23, of Winfield, was killed in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 70 early Monday morning.
It was before 3 a.m. when the fatal crash happened on the eastbound lanes of the highway, west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St.Peters.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a tractor trailer driver was eastbound in the second lane of the highway and saw the pedestrian walking in the same lane. The driver attempted to swerve left to avoid hitting Conner Lipp but still struck him.
Sadly, Conner Lipp, was declared dead at the crash scene.
Meanwhile, traffic officers closed the eastbound lanes an extended period of time as they investigated the collision.
