Two Cars Collide, One Overturns on Highway 242 in Concord

 
CONCORD, CA (February 13, 2019) – At least one person was injured following a two-car crash early Wednesday morning in Concord.
 
The crash happened just before 5:00 a.m. on northbound Highway 242 at Concord Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Lexus sedan and a silver Pontiac collided on the right shoulder of the highway. The impact caused the Pontiac to overturn on its side.
 
Injuries were sustained in the crash and an ambulance unit was dispatched to give aid. At least one patient was taken to a hospital to receive proper treatment.
 
Towing services removed both cars from the wreckage.
 
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
