Bill Vann and Others, Killed in Colusa County Helicopter Crash
Colusa County, CA (August 02, 2021) – On Sunday, 67-year-old Bill Vann and 60-year-old Susie Vann lost their lives in a helicopter crash in a remote area of Colusa County.
Furthermore, the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office also identified 71-year-old Charles Thomas Wilson and 62-year-old Bobbie Lee Keaton, also deceased in the crash.
The fatal crash took place at about 1:15 p.m., north of Sacramento.
Investigating officers said they were all onboard a Robinson R66 helicopter that crashed into a tomato field. Unfortunately, none survived in the crash.
The Vanns left behind four children and seven grandchildren.
Moreover, the National Transportation Safety Board said they will send a team to the area this week to investigate the fatal accident.
