Columbia-Brazoria ISD Student Airlifted in Highway 36 Collision [Brazoria, TX]

Brazoria, TX (October 4, 2024) – A Columbia-Brazoria ISD student and a bus driver were airlifted following a Highway 36 collision Thursday morning.

It was around 7:30 a.m. when the collision involving a dump truck happened.

Moreover, the accident report stated that there were 21 students on the bus when the collision happened.

In the meantime, the authorities closed down the road in both directions from FM 522 to County Road 354.

Troopers are investigating the Highway 36 collision.
