COLTON, CA – Man Killed after Struck by Vehicles on 10 Freeway at 9th Street

Fatal Pedestrian Crash on 10 Freeway in Colton

 
COLTON, CA (May 11, 2019) – A man was killed after being struck by vehicles late Saturday evening in Colton.
 
The fatal incident happened around 10:10 p.m. on westbound 10 Freeway, just East of 9th Street.
 
The CHP log showed a male pedestrian was hit, apparently by multiple vehicles, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending family notification.
 
A SigAlert was issued in the area, closing the westbound lanes of the freeway, just East of 9th Street.
 
Personnel on scene re-opened one lane late Saturday and just before midnight were working to re-open three more lanes.
