Christopher Davis Arrested for DUI Crash on Tutt Boulevard and N Carefree Circle
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (March 15, 2018) – Four people were injured in a DUI Collision that occurred on Thursday afternoon, in the area of Tutt Boulevard and N Carefree Cricle.
A GMC Yukon, driven by 32-year-old Christopher Davis, was passing vehicles while traveling southbound on Tutt using a left turn lane. He then drifted into the northbound lane hitting a pickup truck head-on, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Emergency responders who arrived at the scene of the accident just before 1 PM, had to rescue a few parties that were trapped. Three victims were in a black GMC Sierra pickup truck. Two of them were last reported in serious condition and there is no update in the current condition of the other victim. Their identities have not yet been released at this time.
Davis was transported, treated, and arrested for vehicular assault and driving under the influence.
Tutt Boulevard was closed between North and South Carefree Circle for several hours after the crash. The investigation was over at around 5:20 PM.
