Two-Vehicle Collision on Osborn Road and Third Avenue Left Motorcyclist Dead on the Scene
Phoenix, AZ (July 8, 2020)– A collision between a motorcycle and a bus was reported on Osborn Road and Third Avenue on Tuesday with one fatality.
Phoenix police spokeswoman Sgt. Mercedes Fortune said that the tragic incident took place on June 30 on Osborn Road and Third Avenue. Officials responded at the scene around 11:00 a.m. and found the wreckage of the crash.
The collision involved two vehicles including a motorcycle and a private bus. According to the report, the bus was about to turn left onto Third Avenue. Suddenly, the private bus collided with a motorcycle that came from the opposite direction.
Motorcycle Crash Resulted in One Fatality
As a result, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. However, police are yet to identify the deceased victim. Fortune also reported that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet during the incident.
Furthermore, one passenger on the bus sustained injuries from the deadly crash. Fortune said that the passenger was transported to the hospital for treatments.
Moreover, police investigated the incident and they do not believe that the fatal collision was caused by drug impairment.
