West Hills Woman Colleen Wong Killed When Street Racer Crashes into Her on Vanowen Street

 
West Hills, CA (March 20, 2021) On Friday, Colleen Wong, 57, died in a tragic street racing crash on Vanowen Street.
 
The fatal crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. on the 24300 block area.
 
Reports said two to three cars were street racing when one of them lost control and crashed into the innocent victim’s vehicle.
 
Unfortunately, the woman, a mother, lost her life at the scene.
 
Rescuers took the male suspect driver to the hospital with moderate injuries and a bystander suffered minor injuries helping pull a person from one of the wrecked cars.
 
Authorities said the stretch of the roadway has been a hot spot for illegal street racers. Moreover, street racing is illegal and can result in fatal consequences.
 
Meanwhile, the officers arrested the male driver while being treated in the hospital. Also, they have not identified the deceased as of yet.
