Fatal Motorcycle Collision West of Denver City
Gaines County, TX (Aug. 12, 2023) – On Thursday morning, 37-year-old Cody Satterfield of Seminole lost his life following a motorcycle crash on Highway 214.
The authorities responded to the crash scene before 6 a.m. two miles west of Denver City.
According to the accident report, a pickup truck was southbound on the freeway when the driver failed to yield the right of way to a motorcycle driven by Cody Satterfield.
The pickup truck attempted to turn left and was hit in the intersection by Cody Satterfield.
As a result, Cody Satterfield was thrown from the motorcycle and hit by a second pickup truck. He succumbed to his injuries at the crash scene.
Officers are still investigating.
