Anderson County Collision Kills 2 Drivers
Anderson County, TX (August 14, 2023) – On August 4, Cody Beard, 23, of Crockett, and Craig Warrick, 36, of Waxahachie, lost their lives in a head-on collision on US 287.
It was about 5:18 p.m. when Cody Beard was driving an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado on US 287 while Craig Warrick was westbound.
One vehicle attempted to pass in a no-passing zone and hit the other head-on. Both of the vehicles left the road toward the south and caught fire.
Unfortunately, Cody Beard and Craig Warrick both die at the scene.
The authorities are still investigating the fatal collision.
