Half Moon Bay Man Dies after Jumping Out of Moving Vehicle in Moss Beach
MOSS BEACH, CA (September 10, 2019) – A man was killed after he jumped from a moving vehicle Tuesday evening in unincorporated Moss Beach, authorities said.
Paramedics responded around 7:30 p.m. on Airport Street near Cornell Road and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The county coroner’s office identified the man as a Claudio Martinez Ruiz, 34, of Half Moon Bay.
Authorities said intoxication is a possible factor in the death, which is not considered to be a suicide or a result of some sort of domestic violence.
