Maze Boulevard DUI Crash Injures Claude Bennett
Modesto, CA (March 26, 2021) – On Wednesday, Claude Bennett, a man in his 70s from Modesto was injured, while police arrested 40-year-old Armando Rosales in a DUI crash on Maze Boulevard.
The crash happened at 8 p.m. on the 100 block area, wherein three vehicles were involved.
Rosales was westbound on L street in a Dodge SUV when he crossed the center divider and struck a Nissan pickup head-on. Rosales’s vehicle then struck a second vehicle.
The pickup driver, Bennett, incurred major injuries.
Rescuers had to extricate him from his vehicle.
Meanwhile, the driver of the second vehicle Rosales struck is a 30-something woman living in San Leandro. She suffered minor injuries.
Moreover, as of Thursday morning, there was no information on what kind of injuries Rosales suffered.
Rosales was not listed as being in custody at the Public Safety Center. He also was wanted on two warrants issued in San Jose.
