1 Person Hurt in Napa County Auto Accident on Highway 121 near Waters Road

NAPA COUNTY, CA (September 24, 2024) – Sunday morning, Cinthia Sandoval sustained injuries in a startling vehicle crash on Highway 121 near Waters Road.

The incident happened at around 11:10 a.m. on Highway 121, south of Waters Road, and south of the Circle Oaks community.

According to CHP’s Napa Bureau Spokesperson Marc Renspurger, a southbound 2002 Acura MDX lost control for still unknown reasons and struck a 2017 Toyota Tundra pickup truck that was towing a boat.

Moreover, responders rushed a passenger of the Acura, identified as Sandoval of Modesto, to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers identified the driver of the Acura as, Tracy native Joshua Walden. Also, authorities said that neither driver was suspected of driving under the influence.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
