Riverside County Sheriff’s Vehicle Involved in Fatal Bicycle Accident on Eldorado Drive
Palm Desert, CA (October 11, 2023) On Tuesday morning, 33-year-old Christopher Thomas of Palm Desert, died after getting hit by a Riverside County Sheriff’s vehicle in the Country Club Drive fatal collision.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff‘s deputies, the deadly bicycle accident happened around 3:40 a.m. on Country Club Drive and Eldorado Drive.
Reports say that a deputy struck a bicycle rider, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Thomas was identified by the Riverside County coroner’s office, as the deceased bicyclist in the fatal crash.
The CHP has assumed the investigation of the fatal bicycle accident and has not released further information at this time.
