24-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies after Crash on State Highway 18 in San Bernardino

San Bernardino, CA (March 2, 2022) – Monday evening, 24-year-old Christopher Sanchez died in a crash on State Highway 18.

The fatal crash in San Bernardino happened at around  5:45 p.m. on February 28 on State Highway 18, southbound, at lower Old Waterman Canyon Road.

CHP said the bicyclist, Sanchez, died at the hospital from severe injuries.

The  Silver Lexus SUV driver remained at the scene and sustained no injuries. He is in his late 50s.

Further investigation is ongoing.
