Christopher Rodden Dead in San Jose Car Crash
SAN JOSE, CA (August 19, 2019) – A 33-year-old man died in an alleged DUI car crash on Highway 87 on August 14.
According to reports, the unidentified suspect drove Christopher Rodden when CHP tried to pull over the vehicle at around 2:00 a.m. on Highway 87 for suspected DUI.
The driver exited the highway at Curtner Avenue and fled. The CHP stopped the pursuit and later located the car crashed into a light pole, chain-link fence and parked the truck trailer at Monterey Road and Tully Road.
Responders transported the driver to the hospital. However, Christopher Rodden succumbed to his injuries.
No other information has been released at this time.
