PASADENA, CA (March 13, 2018) – A man died when a boulder hit a vehicle on the 134 Freeway on Tuesday night.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Christopher Lopez, who was sitting in the passenger’s seat when the incident happened.
The boulder weighed around thirty-five pounds, according to authorities. It fell on their Toyota Corolla while traveling on the 134 freeway under Orange Grove Boulevard, striking the vehicle’s front windshield and hitting Lopez.
