Christopher Galindo Injured in Lynden Two-Vehicle Accident on Birch Bay Lynden Road
LYNDEN, WA (August 30, 2020) – A Friday night crash on Birch Bay Lynden Road that left Christopher Galindo injured led to the arrest of Brian Johnson.
The incident occurred about 11:17 p.m. when 47-year-old Brian Allen Johnson drove east on Birch Bay Lynden Road near Holiday Drive.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Christopher Galindo drove a 2009 Isuzu NPR headed west on the same road.
However, as the Isuzu turned left onto Holiday Drive, Brian Johnson’s 2003 Chevrolet Malibu collided into it.
As a result, the two vehicles were totaled.
The 25-year-old Blaine man suffered injuries and responders took him to a local hospital. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed his condition.
Meanwhile, the authorities confirmed that drugs and alcohol played a role in the crash. Afterward, police arrested Brian Johnson charged him with vehicular assault.
The police booked him at the Whatcom County Jail without bail.
