Moreno Valley Crash Kills Moreno Valley Man Christopher Chairez

 
Moreno Valley, CA (June 15, 2021) – On Monday, 22 years old Christopher Chairez from Moreno Valley died in a head-on crash on Lasselle Street.
 
The fatal crash took place at 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of John F. Kennedy Drive.
 
Officers said a white Mercedes SUV was southbound on Lasselle Street. At the same time, a red Toyota sedan, driven by Chairez was northbound on the same street.
 
Just then, the Mercedes crossed into opposing traffic and crashed with the Toyota.
 
Officers pronounced Chairez deceased at the scene. Rescuers took the other occupants to local hospitals with various injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities continues to investigate if alcohol and/or drugs was a factor in this fatal crash.
