Christine Johnson Lugo and 2 Kids Hurt in Dallas Fatal Crash [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (October 5, 2024) On Thursday morning, 45-year-old Christine Johnson Lugo of Dallas and her 2 kids, 9-year-old Noah and 7-year-old Camila were hurt in a fatal crash on Mountain Creek Lake Bridge.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the tragic crash claimed the lives of 30-year-old Jorge Nunez of Fort Worth and his 2 young daughters, 7-year-old Sofia and 5-year-old Deborah.

Reports say that the crash occurred on Mountain Creek Lake Bridge in Dallas’ Red Bird neighborhood, just after 8 a.m.

Officials say that Nunez was driving a 2021 KIA Forte westbound when his vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with an eastbound 2006 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Lugo.

Authorities say that the collision claimed the lives of Nunez and his two young daughters, while Lugo and her two children, sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Texas troopers are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
