Robert Allan Watts Arrested for DUI after Fatal Crash near The Plant Shopping Center
SAN JOSE, CA (November 14, 2019) – Christine Herrera died in a pedestrian crash on Little Orchard Street on early Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near The Plant shopping Center at approximately 6:13 PM.
Reports showed that the 43-year-old pedestrian walked northbound on the roadway. After that, a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Robert Allan Watts hit Herrera.
Paramedics transported Herrera to the hospital, where she died due to severe injuries. Watts was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
No further information was provided. However, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
