53-Year-Old Christina Rubio Killed in Roberts Lane Collision [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (November 3, 2023) – 53-year-old Christina Rubio was killed following a Roberts Lane collision Wednesday night.

CHP officers said the single-vehicle crash took place around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Sequoia Drive.

Investigators said the male driver of a 2002 Ford made an unsafe turn onto Roberts Lane East. The right tire of the Ford truck plowed into a concrete curb and the vehicle rolled over.

Rubio was not wearing her seatbelt during the accident. She was thrown from the vehicle and died.
