Shasta County, CA (April 08, 2021) – On Wednesday, Chrissy Seiben was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Iron Mountain Road.
The Shasta County accident happened at around 7:20 p.m. which also involved an RV.
The motorcyclist and passenger Ms. Seiben were northbound along the road near Keswick Dam Road. Just then, an RV driver turned left ahead of them.
Reports said the motorcyclist clipped the back of the RV and crashed into it.
As a result, the motorcyclist and passenger incurred major injuries.
Right away, rescuers took them to a nearby hospital.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
Meanwhile, officers temporarily Iron Mountain Road to one-lane traffic while emergency personnel cleared the scene.
Later reports by Chrissy Seiben’s family reveal that the woman, a nurse who also battled COVID-19, sustained a broken back, wrist, and other moderate injuries.
Seiben worked at Shasta Regional Medical throughout the entire pandemic helping others. Her brother, Stephen Grogan, says she is single mother of four and her insurance won’t cover much of the medical expenses she is now facing.
