CHP Officer Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on 91 Freeway [Anaheim, CA]

Anaheim, CA (September 4, 2024) – A CHP officer was injured in a hit-and-run crash on 91 Freeway Tuesday morning.

It was past 8 a.m. when the traffic accident near Euclid Street.

Investigators determined the officer was conducting a traffic stop on the right shoulder of the westbound highway. The officer was inside his vehicle when a black Nissan pickup truck crashed into the patrol car and fled.

Later on, the truck was located under the Euclid Street overpass but the driver remains at large.

The suspect driver was described as an adult male and was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.

Luckily, the officer only sustained minor injuries.
