Officer Hospitalized in Sacramento DUI Accident on Stockton Boulevard near Florin Road
SACRAMENTO, CA (October 17, 2022) – Sunday morning, a CHP officer sustained injuries in a DUI crash on Stockton Boulevard near Florin Road.
The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. on Stockton Boulevard, just south of Florin Road.
According to the authorities, a vehicle struck a CHP officer who was outside his vehicle and conducting traffic control for an earlier incident in the area.
Moreover, officers at the scene performed life-saving measures on the officer who sustained major injuries. Then, paramedics transported the injured officer to a hospital for further treatment.
Reports revealed that officers arrested the driver involved in the crash on suspicion of DUI.
