Injuries Reported in Madera County Auto Accident on Highway 41 and Road 415
MADERA COUNTY, CA (July 3, 2022) – Saturday night, an on-duty CHP officer suffered injuries in a crash on Highway 41 and Road 415.
The incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. on Highway 41 and Road 415. According to reports, the CHP officer traveled south on Highway 41 in his marked SUV. Then, a pickup driver backing out of a driveway failed to see the approaching officer.
Then, the officer applied the brakes but failed to avoid crashing with the Ford F150.
Afterward, responders took the officer to a local hospital with major injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver complained of pain.
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash.
