Injuries Reported in San Francisco Auto Accident near Bay Bridge Toll Plaza
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 29, 2021) – Sunday, a CHP officer sustained injuries in a crash near Bay Bridge Toll Plaza.
According to reports a vehicle driver went off in the wrong direction, headed back to Oakland on Interstate 580.
Then, the driver turned back around and crashed into the patrol car.
Afterward, the driver attempted to hit another patrol car. Instead, he hit another person’s car. Luckily, the other person suffered no injuries.
Then, responders took the officer and the suspect to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Authorities confirmed that they will take the suspect upon release from the hospital.
