LOS ANGELES, CA (December 14, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a CHP officer sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway near Barranca Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 2:00 p.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Barranca Avenue.
 
According to reports, an SUV rear-ended a CHP patrol vehicle for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the patrol vehicle forward and collided with another vehicle.
 
Moreover, responders transported the CHP officer to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Then, the SUV driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
 
Furthermore, the incident closed three lanes of the freeway but has long since reopened.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
