1 Dead in Sacramento Auto Accident on Interstate 5 near El Camino Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 15, 2024) – Saturday morning, a child died in a devastating car crash on Interstate 5 near El Camino Avenue.
The crash happened at about 10:15 a.m. on Interstate 5 near El Camino Avenue.
A silver Lexus traveling northbound on the freeway spun out and collided with a tree.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a man was driving the car with three child passengers. Three occupants were transported to the hospital, where one of the children was pronounced dead.
The severity of injuries sustained by the other passengers has not been disclosed.
Due to the storm, additional spinouts have been reported across the area. The identities and ages of those involved have not yet been released.
