AUSTIN, TX (February 5, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a child died in a pedestrian crash on N Meadows Drive.
 
The incident happened at about 4:20 p.m. in the 900 block of N Meadows Drive, said Austin-Travis County EMS.
 
Officers confirmed that a child succumbed to injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported an adult victim to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries.
 
Austin Police Department arrived at the scene at 4:24 p.m. Also, the incident shut down the area around North Meadows Drive and Newmont Road for a while.
