VAIL, AZ (August 16, 2022) – Sunday night, a child died in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 10 at Milepost 290 near Vail.
 
The incident happened at about 11:00 p.m. on Interstate 10 at Milepost 290 near Vail.
 
According to reports, a Mazda sedan traveling the wrong way in the westbound lane crashed with a Toyota Camry.
 
Then, responders took the Mazda driver to the hospital for serious injuries. Moreover, the authorities suspected that the driver was impaired.
