Injuries Reported in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident near Glacier Lake and Whispering Lake Street
SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 15, 2024) – Saturday night, a child suffered injuries in a startling pedestrian crash near Glacier Lake and Whispering Lake Street.
The incident happened at about 8:00 p.m. near the corner of Glacier Lake and Whispering Lake Street on the far East side.
According to police, a 7-year-old boy was playing soccer in his front yard when he chased the ball into the street. While retrieving it, he was hit by a black 2021 Ford Mustang.
The driver immediately stopped to help the child, who was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities evaluated the driver for DWI but found no signs of intoxication.
No criminal charges have been filed in the incident.
