Child Injured in Highway 101 Vehicle Crash [Humboldt County, CA]

Humboldt County, CA (March 5, 2024) – Two adults and child were injured following a Highway 101 vehicle crash Monday afternoon.

It was about 4:24 p.m. when the traffic accident happened on the northbound lanes of the freeway at mile marker 31, south of Weott.

Investigators said a vehicle crashed into a roadside sign.

Two of the occupants incurred to moderate injuries and the other sustained minor injuries. An ambulance responded to the scene to provide medical assistance

Troopers are investigating the cause of the accident.
