5-Year-Old Child Dies in Tragic Rollover Crash on Highway 60 [Mesa, AZ]

Mesa, AZ (October 27, 2024) On Friday evening, a child lost his life while others were hurt in a rollover crash on Highway 60.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fatal crash happened at about 6:45 p.m. on US 60 near Power Road.

Reports say that the tragic rollover crash claimed the life of a 5-year-old boy and left a woman and two other children with injuries.

DPS reports that the single-vehicle accident resulted in all four occupants being trapped in the vehicle.

Upon arrival, deputies and firefighters extricated the woman and three children and transported them to the hospital with varying degrees of injury.
